Yeah, it is, sorry haven't updated for a while. I would say I've been busy, but I don't like to lie.
I've just been working, waiting for pay; simply so I can spend some money.
Still trying to lose fat, gain muscle and all that.
Expect something slightly more exciting when I come back from Scotland.

Haven't been doing a lot recently, up the gym and running as much as possible. Took a fitness test Monday and apparently I'm above average; which was pleasantly surprising. Still finding the new job good, and having fun. Although having no money until payday isn't.
Unfortunatly were I work isn't in a brilliant settting, (well actually it is but the people living in that setting aren't) and I've already had problems from 'chavs' in the area. I was walking to the shop to get lunch, minding my own business when they tried to start. Shouting abuse and the like.
Unfortunatly I didn't have time to fight, as I had to be back to work. But other than that I've had a fairly good, and uneventful week.
I've been trying to book a flight to Scotland as I'm heading up there for some White Water rafting with my brother, but the prices are so high it looks like I might be push biking.

Today was my first day at the new job, actually really enjoyed it, time flew quicker than the old job, and the staff (who I sort of knew before I started) were really cool. I spent some (alot) of time cleaning, and half an hour shifts on poolside, sitting in 'the chair'. (The lifeguard chair that watches over the pool)

Luckily no-one drowned, or had any trouble, I decided I want to try and be a 'nice' lifeguard, not moan to much, but not let people get away with sh....stuff.

I'm back their tomorrow, but not until the evening, and I've now signed up to go and help fix a friends PC in the morning, he's made a rather nice job of getting a fair few trojans and what not.

Yes yes, I am indeed now a qualified lifeguard (well for a pool) and am now working at the local Sports Center. If I'm honest, I'm very pleased, I wasn't sure I had what it takes to pass the assessment and was nervous about the test and results. Luckily it all went well, and everyone who took the test in my group passed.

Thats all I've been doing this week, getting up early, going into the course, coming home, revising and sleeping.
I haven't got much planned for now, I start the new job Tuesday and until then I'm going to carry on enjoying the sun. I can finally get back to training (JJ & MMA) and hit the gym.

Another Update. . .

Today I had my first shift at the new job, nothing exciting settled in well and had a good time. Haven't been doing a lot reading a sleeping through the heat, getting a little nervy about the lifeguard course. Especially as I injured myself at training on Monday, hopefully it'll pass, it's just a slight pain down the left side of my abdominal.

Well, after a couple of days sulking I've decided to update the blog. I'm completely refusing to talk about the f**tb*ll because of the way we were cheated out of it.

However, in life, we go on. I've been continually swimming this week in preparation a lifeguard course that I start a week today; and the heat-wave thats currently turning us all red means that going for a swim is quite nice anyway.
Until this new job starts I'm mostly just sitting around, enjoying the weather and the time off. I'm currently reading a Jiu Jitsu book which is quite interesting.

Hopefully a more interesting update soon.

A new blog, a new job.
Today I got a call from the Sports Centre, offering me a job, unsurprisingly I'm quite pleased and looking forward to starting 'officially' Tuesday, although I'm not sure I'll do any proper shifts until after then.
In other news: Argentina have just scored against Germany, great goal. Been a bit of a boring game until now, hopefully that'll liven it up.
After my phone call I decided to head out to the gym, I needed a workout anyway and it meant I could get in the pool; because the weather here today has been brilliant, not a cloud in sight. Did a few lengths and came home for the football and to make sure I stuck to my word and updated this again.

Welcome to my shiny new blog, I hope to be posting the ups and downs, ins and outs and general bits and bobs of my life here. Just so you all know whats happening, with me. You might be interested, maybe not, if not; at least it gave me something to do.
Here goes. . .

Today I had to get up early and shave before my job interview at the local sports centre in Rye. (The money won't be great, and the hours might not be ideal, but its a job; and I need all the money I can get at the moment).
I got there early so I could pop into the bank and take some money out. I think the interview went well but its always hard to tell with these things. This evening I've just been on the forums and chilling at home. One of the guys at the forum has shown a real talent for art, while another is down and has said he is leaving. The world's a funny place sometimes eh?

Some info about me to start: I'm a student living in the South East of England around the Hastings/Rye area. I'm enjoy swimming and going to the gym, and train in Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts three times a week. Hopefully any other useful information you'll pick up from reading the blog.
